you might want to take it to a shop.
I installed their 2/3 drop and you don't remove leaf springs. You just install a lowering block between the spring and axle and use new U-bolts they provide.
what part are you stuck on?
it's pretty straight forward, i thought... popping the spindles loose was the hardest part after 115k miles, lol
the leaves stay together completely... and the block has a hole drilled in it... matter of fact, you don't even have to remove the leaves at all... use a high lift jack and support the truck from the hitch point... or put two jack stands on the rear frame rails and use your floor jack to raise the differential (complete) up from the leaves... remove the bump stops, cut an inch off of them, reinstall, slide in your blocks, put in the ubolts and crank down like hell...
up front, it's pretty self explanatory... unbolt the shock, remove brake caliper, tie it out of the way, undo the spindle bolts at the bottom and give it some love taps and it'll separate. while everything's tied up, cut off the oem bumpstop and install the pancake one... reverse order and install the new spring - you don't even need a compressor for it...
oh, and then immediately get an alignment!!
thanks scotty too hotty i kinda blew HIM, but that's the gist of it...
Fixed it for you.:burnout:
