OK yall, still trying to fix this gremlin that seems to be electrical or soemthing. I have determined that the power loss I get from around 40-65 MPH has to be a sensor or wiring issue to more than likely the injectors. It seems as if the whole right side will shut off ( causing my power loss problem) and I can barely touch the pedal and the cylinders are reactivated again and the truck takes off? By rolling down my back windows one at a time ( having side exit exhaust) I can distinctly hear the exhaust and cylinders firing pretty good. Well as of last night I discovered that when the truck acts a fool that the right side exhaust goes almost silent as if no combusition? As soon as I give it a little more gas ( barely) it wakes up, cylinders firing, and takes off. Return to about the same pedal as before and it acts up again?

I first was totally determined it was the TPS having a bad spot, but have replaced and no luck. Gone thru the Camshaft Postion Sensor, and swapped a few other sensors with a known good truck and no help!

I am thinking now that whatever controls the right side bank of injectors is acting up, has a wire shorting, or relay tripping? NOt the O2 sensors either as I have replaced them a few times blaning them for this poor running.
It seems as if the ignition, or fuel is cut and with a slight increase in speed it all kicks back in?

Sooooooooooo........WIFEY? ANYONE? What controls the injectors firing besides ECM ( replaced it as well). Again this seems to only happen around 40-65MPH and as you pass 65 it clears up and will not act back up until back around 62-65 and light pedal ( cruising) Speed sensor mucking with things? MAP sensor?:(

MAP sensor maybe?....mine was not mounted in the right place and my right bank ran rich....Your dealer should be able to check what is happening with his StarScan...

The starscan wont show anything unless he has some stored codes from the incident.. maybe you can get a tech to ride with you, let him data log with the starmobile and hope you can duplicate the concern.

Have you checked all the grounds?

Pm me if you need a wiring diagram on anything :D

could be a bad wiring harness on that side. either short or loose or broken wires. continuity and ohm test.

off the wall brain fart..........

possible fuel prob on that side?????? some type of restriction in the little cross over line??????

Larry, where did you mount your MAP sensor?

I originally mounted it on the top intake box...this is where it should mount with the VEC....I was told (KRC) to replace the MAP sensor with a 2 BAR one...same as comes on an 05 SRT4....when I went from the VEC to SCT....didnt tell me using the SCT required the MAP sensor to be below the SC so it could sense boost & Vacuum.....

Now I have connected it by hose to the line going in the back of the intake....this has caused me a lot of headachs the last 2 yrs....truck ran strong but would have little issues come up..A/F wasnt consistant among others.....

here ya go!

The first pic there, power comes from C130 to the coils.

Second shows the pcm and color codes for coil signal wires.

I threw the third one in just to reference where the C130 connector is.
