My 06 regular cab is entered in One Lap of America - my original post is here:

I'm looking for brackets or some sort of mounting solution for a 2.5 lb fire extinguisher - it should be in the cab somewhere. Maybe the seat frame or in that plastic tray behind the seat.

And, if you have any idea on where I can mount a small CB radio, or even pictures, that would be terrific. I did look into getting one of these little handheld Cobra radios, but the truck stop guy said the speaker was terrible, and I don't want to mount an external speaker too.

I have two 2.5 lb halon extinguishers; one under the driver's seat controls mounted to the frame of the seat and the other under the back seat next to the sub.

For my Bonneville run, they required a single 5lb extinguisher; I fabbed up a temporary steel mount that held it on the rear seat floor using the front seat frame bolts.

For CBs, I use the Midland http://www.amazon.com/MIDLAND-75-822-Channel-Way-Radio/dp/B00000K2YR

I have an external http://www.firestik.com/CatalogFrame.htm with a magnet and spring mount. Without the spring, it would fly off the roof after about 90mph... our roof steel isn't think enough. :(
