An 8.0 would put you in the 12's so it must have been high 8's. Mine went 9.3 if your went 8.0 all stock it is a freak of nature.:dontknow: Anyway, welcome!! I was just curious

8.109 @ 89.12 put me at 12.453 @ 114.34 Turbo
8.179 @ 88.92 put me at 12.534 @ 114.31 Turbo
8.159 @ 86.45 put me at 12.710 @ 108.39 Stage 2

Wow, Thanks alot for the info!! When you ran with the stage 2 was that with a full exhaust(headers, mids, etc). I would love to see a full second drop in the 1/8th with those mods, I just dont see it happening. Did you ever run it bone stock? I was alittle disappointed to see mine go 9.33@77 with a 2.1 60ft:(

Well if you look at my times my 1/8 are really close. I picked up a lot of speed in the back half of the track. My mods with the stage2 were Borla without rear cats and K&N CAI. The key is in the launch. My 60 for the 12.7 run was 1.862. You just can't floor it. I 2 foot it up to the staging line. I barely trip the 2nd stage light and rev up to 1500-2000 RPM. Then on the 3rd yellow I roll into the throttle and make sure the truck is in tow/haul mode. I now know a better way is to put the truck in 1st gear and once it gets going then just throw it up into D.

Welcome to the nut house

Welcome Rob. Contact NBT, he can give you the details of a N. Fl. GTG on Oct 7th.

Man thanx guys.what a great way to start out.As for the 1/8 mile times Like I said I didnt remember.I guess I was thinking about my old Lightning times. It was a mid 12 second truck. You know it hasnt been as fun running this truck at the track as it was with the Lightning and the Harley truck. When I bought this truck i told myself that I was not going to do any mods to it.I figured I would just enjoy it and play a little without risking a blow up.Well now I feel I need to at least get the DC computer and maybe air filter. The truck is too quiet too.I might consider getting a cat back system too.:burnout:
I drag race boats too so a lot of my time and money has to go to that.

Ya like I said I wasnt sure it was a year ago and I must have confused it with my memory from my Lightning days when I was running mid 12's:) I stopped keeping my time slips years ago:burnout:

Welcome to the RBC!

Weren't you trying to put together a GTG at Bradenton a while back? There are a couple of trucks from your area going to Jax on the 7th, why don't you tag along!?
