While at the Mopar Nats I was talking to Tim about stuff. He asked why I had mentioned selling my truck and I told him that I was thinking about a Challenger but really had not pursued selling the truck. It was then he said "You know they are making more Challengers in the first year than all 3 years of the SRT 10". So yesterday while washing my truck for the monthly local cruise-in it hit me. Keep the truck stupid:rock: I had been so busy finishing the Duster and making the Coronet faster that I had neglected the SRT and I felt guilty about it while cleaning her up. So after I got her cleaned up, (the truck not Shellie:D ), Shellie and I went to the cruise-in. The truck garnered just as much attention as it did when new so........I AM NOT SELLING MY TRUCK!!!!!!!    Thank you TIM!!!!

Very good, one day these will be quite rare. I know I have thought about selling mine, but I know it's not the right thing to do. So it will stay in the family.

Bill.

Seems like every time I get the notion to sell mine, someone does something similar. Either a great comment, or a mention about how unique they are!!

You should see the guys at my new job when I pull into the parking lot!! The looks are priceless!!

Mine stays for sure!!!!

Glad you are keeping yours too!!!!

Cool story...These trucks are really unique...I get alot of attention cause
there are so few of them and there BADASS...Good choice on keeping
you SRT-10 ...

I get a comment every time I stop and put gas in it, or park it.

I came out the movies one night at Bricktown in OKC, and I thought something bad had happened.

There was a small crowd where I parked it, and they thought I was a god because I had a SRT 10!! It just a cool truck, and those who don't have one, dream about owning one.

Same here...cant go anywhere without being questioned or complimented...at redlights, gas station, just driving down the road....and it has been over 2 yrs since an SRT10 has been built.....Challenger will attract a lot of attention for a while...then IMO it will be almost as common as Mustangs..

;) Really Glad To Hear It... Ya Know There Will Never Be A Truck Like Ours Produced Again, And Most Everyone I've Talked To Who Had One And Got Rid Of It, Regrets It Later... The Challengers Are Way Cool, But Chrysler Is Gearing Up To Produce An Amazing Amount Of Em, In Lots Of Different Combinations, But An SRT 10, Even Though Short Lived, And Not Very Fuel Efficient Will Always Draw Lots Of Attention, That Part Won't Ever End :D

Almost did the same thing, I was looking at zo6 vettes and then it hit me at a car show a few months ago, 56 vettes .........1 srt 10 viper truck in a 200+ car show. I just sat there amazed and realized im one of a few, even the viper car owners comment on how nice my truck is, now ive decided not to sell no matter what. Ill pretty much do anything to keep her for the long term, maybe a vette some day but the truck will come first always in my eyes due to its a kick ass ride, beats 99% of everything on the street and is the best dam looking pickup ever built. Just to see the look in peoples eyes when they see my engine compartment, or when you tell them about it, is the best feeling in the world, when cops pull me over just to look at her, you'll most likely never find anything close to this. Keeping her is the best idea! Glad to see your not selling.

A good wash is all it usually takes!! I've been through so many toys but I see myself hanging on to this one longer than usual!

Glad you decided to keep it! That black can be taken off of it pretty easy when you want to spruce her all up and make her the fastest color ;) ;) :p :p :D

WOOO-HOOOOOO

I think we should set up a help/counselor line to TIM for the rest of the defectors!!!! Way to go brother!

I've heard so many stories about folks having to unload collector vehicles due to life circumstances like kids, jobs, divorce, or illness. Thankfully, we're not having kids, but we've got stable jobs, and wonderful group health insurance.

I've been participating in some local charity car shows around here so I can get some ideas for my American Cancer Society show next summer. My SRT-10 is usually the only Dodge truck and certainly the only Ram SRT-10. There are always a raft of nice Corvettes and such, but nothing as truly unique and strange as the Ram SRT-10.
