Just bought a truck for the farm in June...an SRT 10. I even have farm plates on it. Great truck....has to be the neatest truck in the world. Mine is a silver quad cab with a moonroof. Might sell it and buy a black one. Has anyone changed the gear ratio to improve low end speed. I'm sure my truck is pretty close to 6000 #, has headers and magna flow exhaust...only did a 14.3 in the 1/4. Even got beat by 05 Duramax 3/4 t crew cab with a Bully Dog chip. A programmer would probably also help. Would changing the shift points to 6000 rpm help? It now shifts at about 5700 but the redline is at 6000.

Welcome. People have changed the gears to 4.88 and I am sure they will chime in. If it is a Qc than definately flash the computer or get a tuner.

Best you can do for that beast of a QC is to put a StageII PCM in her and get rid of those Cats without spending a ton of money . Especially in Alberta before they bring in Kyoto on us..

I take it you ran the truck at Castrol raceway? If so you picked the right track.. i run a 13.4 in Calgary while i will run a 12.9 in Leduc. Elevation effects us that much man, it just sucks... Well welcome abord again, have fun and watch out for these crazy Americans!!
