Ok, I spent almost the day on this f***g HID HI/LOW kit: (except 2 hours spent pulling a lifter off the engine of my ranchero, with a magnet without pulling the intake  )
anyway, Ram's lamp control can't "feel" the bulbs so it goes on and off all tha time.
I searched over the net, looks like a couple of load balancing resistors are needed.
I filnally wired the low beam trigger to the parking lights, and it's ok, but when it comes to trigger the Hi Beams, nothing without real bulbs plugged it comes no signal from the stock Hi Beams wires.
damn it! I'm pissed off.
any hints? looks like 6Ohm resistors would do the job, but they draw some high current and get hot! 50 or 100 w aluminum resistors are needed.
like this one
another try: I plugged 2 diodes (6 amps each) one to Hi the other to low, then connected together the +: this way there's a + even with HI always on. It works but diodes comes hot.
I think I'll chose diodes way, just need to find those hi amp metallic diodes...
any other ideas are welcome!
thanks
