HIDs and projectors

I'm looking at changing my headlights to halo projectors and halo projector fog lights. All of the headlights I have found sperate the high and low beams so does that mean I need a different HID kit than stock? Also does anyone know if the new projector lights are wired allow for both high and low beans to be on or does it just switch over like stock?
