SERPENT said:I'm still having this problem too.Have done everything suggested here except taking off the throttle body and re-building. Really annoying-draws unnecessary attention when you pull up next to a Trooper at a light and it doesn't throttle down.

driving home this evening i had it again ... stops at 1500 revs ... and slowly back to normal...
i still believe the great TB blade( in my case the Xmetal ) has alot of bypass air in comparison with the stock ones who close almost 100 %....:dontknow:
SERPENT said:You are not alone Barry. We have the identical problem and have not been able to solve it for over a month. We have changed the TPS and the IAC.Today we tried the Roe start up procedure twice. No luck.Checked all the vaccum connections---nothing.Checked the throttle body gasket-- no problem.Increased the fuel pressure to 55 lbs to help the spray pattern on the 60 lb injectors--nothing. Could we possibly be dumping too much fuel into the system on deacceleration? Any other ideas anybody. Please let us know your thoughts ---this truly sux.
belgiumbarry said:i think to switch back to stock TB... if this resolves the problem, there's no doubt ... the to much bypass air flow around the great blade not closing enough.... i think...:dontknow:
What metal shavings?099 FEVER said:What are all the specks that look like metal shavings in the manifold picture. I hope it's not and only needs cleanup before reassembly.
