Make sure to get your transmission fluid changed at your 15,000 mile service. Whether you do it, or you take it to the dealer, it's worth the time and money. My truck has always shifted nice and firm, but there was definitely a noticeable difference after getting the tranny serviced. I asked them to check the bands, and of course the dealer said that everything looked fine. He said, "you must not be too rough on it".

Thanks for the tip, I REALLY need to get mine services and adjusted, it's not doing as well as it used to, that is for sure.

Mine has 13K on the clock, and I have been meaning to get it into the shop. It's starting to shift funny, so when they check the bands I think they have to change the fluid anyways. Right?

It's been the best mod I have done so far for the truck! No question about it. Even Dave at Roe Racing was impressed with the change/improvement of the tranny and stall converter.

The funniest was Dave sitting in the back seat of the truck, saying he has seen someone do a doughnut in a QC. LOL So I proceeded to do some figure 8's on their test track while he was holding on for life in the back. Priceless, needed a camera at the time.
