Hogan intake manifold.

It on my vice. I'm trying to take the shaft out of it with my air hammer.

From previous member knowledge, an air hammer does not produce the impact torque needed to remove that shaft. You will need a 3# ball peen hammer. It produces a more direct solid blow.

Save your money and forge the bottom, then crank up the boooost

Just throwing fancy parts on an engine doesn't work well without a complete plan, would you be paying full price or is this a used piece ??

"Hogan intake" doesn't sound like "OEM intake" or "factory intake" hence the question :burnout:

In the front our OEM intake manifold and in the back the HOGAN racing manifold

Here is the thread to read about it....

Yeah I just read the whole thread.

Wow what a beautiful piece!

I have to agree with some others... That intake is possibly massive overkill unless the rest of your engine can flow as well. Otherwise it might be a waste of money unless your just going after awesome underhood bling.

Id love to have one just for the shock value.

E, you are probably better off asking this over on the 'Alley. As you know, and contrary to what has been implied in this thread, Hogan has made multiple versions of Viper intakes, for a variety of different applications. The factory Gen III intake limits power more than the factory cam or throttle body.

here are a couple:rock:

E got a early version with really short runners which will change the power curve and torque will drop quite a bit.

not really true, only up top...this intake would make great low to mid range hp and tq with those short runners, as long as it had the right head and cam combo...
