Anyone on here do work on home A/C units????
A rental house owned by us has a Carrier A/C unit
Model #38yb030300
serial # 2496319513

The fan is blowing downward and forcing the air to be pushed out through the condensor......I was under the impression that the fan should be pulling the air through the condensor and up out the top of the unit ...Which way would be correct???????

The A/C unit was worked on at some point prior to ownership of the property..... The capacitor went out on it today.... I replaced that ... But wasn't sure if the motor/fan was turning in the right direction .... :dontknow:

ac condensor

Your ac condensor should be pulling air thru the coils and blowing the hot air out the top 100%.
