I did brake down and pay some one else to hang, tape and float the sheet rock so i cant take credit for that. Paid some one to tile but im to picky so i pulled most of it down recut what i could i just didn't see why all the lines couldn't be level :)
Only the rest of the house to go:eek:

We are adding a 20x30 sun room and 16x30 screened porch on the back of the house. The best tool I've used to date is the telephone. The only thing I'm on the hook for is electrical. I've got all my ceiling fans in and the hot tub hooked up. Once the painters are done I need to throw the outlets and switches in and it will be just about done. That reminds me. I need to go install some flood lights. :D

I understand completely. With the economy the way it is, contractors are looking for work and are really pretty reasonable right now. One afternoon I thanked one of the guys for doing a good job. He said "Thank you for giving us something to do". So one hand washes the other. We have since recommended our contractor to some other people and a line to wait for him has formed. So he's benefitted by working with us too.

I get some of my best ideas when Im half in the bag..My Flugtag adventure started with a night of drinking..The first one I and some people built was a 34 ft long giant paper airplane on a giant hand for the NY event..We built a flying cell phone for the Baltimore event the pilot was a double amputee dressed up as a cowboy (Tex Message)...They crew was dressed Roman gladiators(Roaman Charges) ..We also had a girl dressed up as a princess (Princess Phone)....Not sure what we are doing for the next closest one to us..Tell me I dont drink enough..lol

Don't have any pics, but we just got done putting down 2,768 lbs worth of cap rock rubble for boarders on gardens,6 Tons of Tennesse Flagstone for a path from the driveway to the back porch including a large patio area for a BBQ Grill,2 pallets of Composted Cow chitt, somewhere aabout 60 plants, weed block and mulch, and last but not least chittloads of River rock !!!Waiting on a couple of pallets of sod to frame all our work and fill in a few other places !!

I have got a hell of a hookup on Palms. we need to get together, and figure out what you want to do...kind of wrapped up for the next 2 weeks...but should be good after that. Was following the thread on Brad....I know he is in FL, and would love the chance to hook up while he is in. My partner at work got Paramedic of the Year for the State of Florida, so i have to be in Orlando June 30th, and I have some friends down that week, so i am trying to arrange some time off that week. I will see what becomes of it...and we can go from there.:D
