I know it has been done before but now I finally understand the pain

Thanks. I've used hi temp engine enamel and yes, I brushed it on. It's a very slow process since the first few coats just disappeared into the liner.

Yeah...I tried to paint mine.....Never could stay inside the lines with my crayons, so I knew I was screwed. Decided to let somebody else do mine, and ended up with this...!

But you don't have a hood liner anymore. Is your hood paint ok?
