Hood scoop LEDs

Bought some red LEDs today to see if I can get it to glow without seeing the LEDs. Anyone done this before?

i have a red neon tube set back inside the scoop,looks great. wired it to my foglight relay.

U prolly gonna get pulled over to be harrassed by local LEOs if u run that at nite, I believe red lites not legal on FRONT of vehicle unless it an emergency vehicle. Like the idea tho..

It's not mounted yet. I set them on the inside of the volant cai.

No red or blue on the front of the vehicle at least here in Bama. All other colors are fair game. Looks mean as hell though

I am in Texas but i believe if you cannot see the actual light and it is not projected more than 70 feet it is legal. I have mine done just like this and don't get messed with.
