That film really took me back to the glory days of my youth.....
His story of Ed Iskandarian reminded me of stories my dad told me about the Isky brothers who he went to school with in L.A. in the 30's... He was very pleased to know that they became pioneers in the field of hot rodding (specially cam shafts)....
The last bit was remeniscent of when my friend Richard Bedford and I used to build models for George Barris in Burbank. George had done a ton of custom cars before and was getting national notoriety because of the Munstersmobile and the Grampa Munster car called the Dragula.... It was a white Dragster style coffin with skinnies up front and a bubble top.
