How do you know if your truck already has a tune?

i got my truck used and was told that there was a tune on it already. but idk if its actually true. i took my truck to get dynoed and it made 450 rwhp with air intake and full magnaflow exhaust. my rev limit is around 6 grand. i want to buy a sct tuner but dont want to buy one if its already been tuned as iv been told that once it is tuned its locked to that specific sct. if it has been locked how do i unlock it so i can use a new sct. any ideas or coments would help!!

Doesn't sound tuned. Is that 450 a corrected number? Post your dyno sheet.

I don't think it has a tune because thouse numbers seem to be what a stock 04 rc is.

If you take it to dodge you can have them read the PCM. If it does have a tune you can have them reflash it to stock and then buy a SCT and start fresh with a new tune. Torrie sells the SCT + tunes combo. his email is [email protected]
