How good have you got it?

I not the type to gloat but...

The day after graduation(last May) I set three goals for myself to get done before I turn 21; Get my own place to live, get my truck ,and get a steady girlfriend. Well I just realized I have all three... and in half the time that I planned! Two days after I graduated I moved into my apartment, I lived off frozed pizza for while but it all worked out. The first or the year a found my truck, and started dating my current gf. I don't know another 19 year old that can say that, and I can count the ones that have 2/3 of those on one hand. Now I need a house, I have reset my goals, if I can pay off this truck before I turn 21 and have a down payment saved for a house then for my 21st birthday I am going to buy a house.
Not to mention today has been the BEST!! I just got done with a job at a flower shop and had this conversation with the old guy that owns it(smart man to), after words he asked for my address and I spit it out not thinking why he had ask, but I guess it had come up that my girlfriend was alone at home doing my wash. I was just sitting here and and he called me to say thats and that everything was working great and at the end he said that I had went the extra mile for him(work from 6am till midnight yesterday so his flowers didn't get hot) and that he had done something for me. As soon as he hung up my Gf called and was ecstatic! He sent her 2 dozen roses from me!?!?!?!?!



... O yea I finaly got my truck back so I am a little over joyed!!!


Well I had a little more to type but, some idiot just quit in the middle of a job and now I have to go finish it, another late night for me but it's all good cause I am superman!!!(rofl)

OK Superman. Don't wear yourself out. The GF may have a job for you when you get home.

Sounds like you have your head screwed on straight. Rare in today's society. Keep making smart life decision and good luck.
 
It is great to see young folks set goals and stick with it:rock: Most get side tracked or give up to soon. Stay with the plan, there is bound to be a few of lifes little stumbling blocks along the way but hang tuff, it will all pay off in the future................that is the one thing most young folks overlook and get trapped in the now...............

Yes, the roses were for you. Have you tried the Gay o Meter latley????:D :p
 
Yeah, enjoy it while you can brother.. Don't mean to sound like an ass but
just remember that were here for you when you hit that damn ceiling fan.. :)

Then let me scare you, i have been with my girl for 8 years and i just turned 24:p
And i have no house/apartment but i have a really nice truck lol. I accomplished 2 of the 3 goals up there and i figure i need truck parts so ill let the gf get a better job and the home wohahahahaha.....:D
 
Stick to your goals...you sound headed in the right direction. I have a goal of owning a VIPER before I turn 30...I got till November, and it should happen. the other was for my 35th birthday, sounds like a jerk if I say it, but it is a very hard goal to reach for anyone!!!
 
I could die tomorrow and die knowing that I achieved absolutely nothing that I actually set my mind to :dontknow:
