how low is too low?

I'm looking at purchasing a 2005 SRT-10 quad cab with 5k miles, yup, 5,000 miles. What should I be on the lookout with a truck that low in mileage? What kinda questions should I be asking?

It may not seem like a question with that low of miles, but what kind of maintenance was done on it. Was the oil changed at least once a year? Does it still have original tires? Were the other fluids changed on a time basis or neglected because of the low miles? Are the recalls all done and up to date (R25 and S43)? Other than that just check it out like you would any other used car.

Plan on some maintenance items. New valve springs, tires if OEM still, suspension springs can fatigue sitting in one position too long. Many things can happen on a low mile engine/suspension. They're built to be driven not designed to sit. Otherwise I'd still swoop it up for the beautiful body, seats, seals, etc
