dedicated to rebuilding a t-56? I took a lot of pictures from the first time i redid my trans but since my trans has been acting funny where i can't get out of reverse and other times can't even move the shifter from the from the 1st/2nd gate. So i'll probably tear the trans down again to look at shift rails and what not so if there are people that want a write up with pictures i'll do my best.

well i looked at the backup switch and it seems to push in and out fine. i'll take it out and see if it helps but still doesn't explain why (trans is in neutral at the moment) my reverse lights are still being engaged. so something with the reverse shift rail or fork is stuck or bent.

The manual works really good, my Grandma could rebuild one following the directions in it. Thats the beautiful thing about automotive manuals, they print them so anyone can do the work.
