Gotta say I'm shocked too. Wish they kept on with going further down the tubes as well as the collector. The velocity right off the exhaust port is substantial therefore it does makes sense that it wouldn't be affected much but I think after it loses velocity towards end of tubes around collector, there would be huge losses. Great find though and very educational. I hate denting headers for obvious cosmetic reasons.

I remember talking to this gentlemen at a car show about his flat headers, and he mentioning that he was sure he lost quite a bit of power even if it didn't feel like it. It didn't bother him much he said because his car looked good. I hope he has seen this video by now, I'm sure he would be very proud.
