HOW TO TELL IF A SRT10 IS TUNED

hey guys is there a way to tell if a srt10 is tuned other than the guy telling you. im want to race this guy in the silver srt in the video but i wonder what he has but everyone say...intake, catback, cat delete, no tune, im still going to race hm but many are asking me if its tuned and i said dont know cause on a hemi it can only go to 105mph unless its tuned it can go past that.

i will ask the guy when i see him but im just wondering if there is a way to tell cause at the track he said he ran 14.5 spinning about 3 weeks ago

No way to tell if there is a tune.......though you might look at his PCM to see if it has a sticker from a tuner or might say "off Road use only"....if he used the SCT you will not be able to tell..

If the guy's telling you he has a custom tune and he actually has one, what's the problem? Figure he might have picked up an extra 10-25hp.

If he's telling you he has one and doesn't, so what? He's full of crap.

I don't know why someone would tell you about a modification unless they're just trying to be honest with you, unlike Lightning owners who will tell you it's stock even if every part on the engine has been replaced or modified.

In the grand scheme of things, if he doesn't hook he's probably cooked. Same goes for anyone.

he hasnt told no one that he has a tune its just many chevy owner assume he has to have one cause maybe they raced a srt10 with a sucky driver and now they cant beat this guy, im glad he is whoopin everyone

must not be a very good driver then, my truck at the g2g satuday ran a [email protected] i've got headers but no intake, temps were in the 90's

well thats his first time to any track but im sure he's gotten better if you see the video he whoopin on low 13 sec trucks and stayed about even until top end when he was gonna pull on a 418 SSS....that 418 on my other friends truck dynoed 501 rwhp but figuring that its on a awd silverado im not sure how much it puts down to the wheels

but as for the 418 im not sure but that motor in the other 2wd truck it ran a 11.5@ 120 n/a but it also weighs 600 lbs less and it was cold soooooooo i figuring awd on 20's mayyyybe a 12.5@106 cause he even admitts it sucks top end and now i know why he always wants to race from a dig. He supposly told me he ran a 12.0 n/a but didnt tell me the trap speed but after looking at some people he races i doubt it its a high trap speed since his top end seems to suck

yeah the awd eats a lot of HP, if ya'll start running the 10 from a dig you'll prob. make him look stupid, these things just aren't a stoplight to stoplight kinda ride. but from a roll they are totally different, what was your trap speed on your 11sec pass?
