Answers to questions
Thanks for the welcome folks! To answer some questions:
1) I paid around $8K for the truck - it had a little over 4,000 miles on it (yes, I got a steal). I still have a few parts to sell off - I'll list those in another section later. From what I have sold - I have a little over $5K into the truck including purchase price.

2) I was looking at a shifter upgrade - learned about the shift into 3rd problem from this site. X-metal is a leading contender.
3) I heard about the week clutch hydralics - any more info on this? Are we talking about the clutch master cylinder on the firewall or the slave/throw-out bearing? I have to replace the one on the firewall anyway.
4) The wing sort of survived. It has some scratches - and the tangs are bent where it attaches. I may try to fix it for resell at some point in time.
5) Only real useable interior parts are the seats which I plan to re-use. Door panels were gone when I got the truck.
6) The
RED button is a must-have and will be installed.
7) I decided to keep the security/SKIM system - I've figured out how to make that work.
8) The $ does, initially, sound like a dumb way to add 500 horses. But when you add it all up I come out about $15K ahead in the game ($5K for the V10/6spd vs. $13K for Crate motor + $5K for 5spd + $3-4K for accessories). If I went with a crate motor - I still need the manual transmission, accessories, headers, etc. which adds up fast. The v10/6spd "coolness" is a strong plus. Finally, after owning mopars for 25+ years I am tired of the hassles with messing with the carb/etc. Going electronic/fuel injection/computer managed will make the driving experience of the car MUCH better - and that's what it's all about. If my Charger had the original matching #'s drive train then I would not have done this.
