By the way, I have driven one. It was the SUV version with the 5 cylinder and I thought it was fine. In the $20,000 price range it would be a good option.

My neighbor had one, it was a POS. 2006, 5 cyl. It went back to the dealer 3 times for the trans acting up, when they finally took it back on the lemon law.

Consider the Jeep Commander Limited. I bought one and my wife likes it so much she took it from me. It sorta, kinda looks Hummerish and has all kinds of bells and whistles. Nav, Backup camera, power liftgate, heated seats, more headroom etc.
