I bought some magnaflow tips on ebay OPPS

I thought I was bidding on a magnaflow exhaust on ebay. the night before I went to Singapore I bid 150, not thinking I'd win...............

My wife tells me today "so when were you gonna tell me you bought exhaust for the truck"? I couldn't believe that it went for 150. And I told her to buy'em.

I just looked at the auction again and It is only for the tail section................. it also states that in the description, WTF i dont remember that being there.............

So I asked to pay the ebay fee's and back out of the sale. I hope he agrees.

Is this anyone on here?

I saw the same listing. There is actually another one for just the "tail section" I'm not saying that the listing is misleading but I did read it a couple times then noticed that it was the "tail" section only. Someone must be doing a "custom" tip and is posting these on EBAY. Hope it works out for you I had a similar situation once and it made me a LOT more cautious. Good Luck!

I place my ad after see how much that one was going for. Because I installed the Magnaflow muffler and chose to have custom stainless dual exhaust tips coming out both sides. You could have withdrew your bid before the auction was over.. I agree if you don't need them that sucks! But someone out there might have had a tail piece that is messed up and just needed that part not the whole system. " that runs $600 +."

I agree, in your listing you ARE clear that you did use some of the system and that the listing is for what is pictured only. It is actually on my "watch" list. Are the tips "double walled"?
 
You can complain to ebay, if he leaves you negative feedback stating the title and description are misleading.

I'm really sorry, if I must pay i will, heck the only reason I came out and bid 150 was I thought it was a magnaflow exhaust.

HIM I appreciate your honesty and I understand the situation, but I explained the auction and even highlighted that it was only that part included.

ME If you can't give it to the other guy that bid up to 150, then I'll take the neg feedback. I can't graft this thing into my exhaust, it would be a paper weight. Sorry.

Your listing said Magnaflow exhaust srt-10. Not Magnaflow tips srt-10. I didn't see the listing in red, although that to was very vague. I don't need to get into a pissing match over the net with you. I offered to pay your ebay fee's, told you that you could offer it to the guy that bid it right up to my max bid. Which by the way is a little alarming, you know you could be kicked of ebay for up bidding your own items? Give me negs and be done with it.

WHAT A ASS, ANYHOW, I believe that he up bid his own item........... the guy that up bid to 150 oddly enough my max bid has 0 feedback. I will report him to ebay.............................. F with the bull
 
Besides $30 shipping for just tips, is WAAAAYYYY excessive. They weight only about 15-20lbs at most, and could easily be shipped for $10-15 FedEx Ground anywere in the USA. I know this because I ship a ton of stuff.. i never pad my shipping costs, other than to cover the cost of a box and packing material, which are dirt cheap.
 
I would question the user that pushed the final sale price all the way to $150. No feedback. Could easily be a new user created just to push the price of the auction up. I never liked private auctions where you can not see the info of the other bidders.
 
Well this punk as yet to respond back to me. And I've recieved no feedback, either good or bad. Maybe he's got the point, and I'm onto him.
 
Update,

He left neg feedback,

I explained to ebay that the title was misleading and the buyer bid on his own item.

Then I emailed the ole' boy that if he's ever in Houston to drop me a line and we'll talk about this face to face. Also he relisted the "EXHAUST" could y'all (I know some don't like me) do me a favor and flame the shit out of this prick about that not being exhaust, or flag ebay to a lying title?
