You obviously have not read about it, everyone would get a check from the government every month for the basic necessities of life based on there family size!

Everything else they purchase would be no different, they pay taxes on it now anyway!!
And who determines what the basic necessities are and how much they cost? Are clothes included? How about tires for the car? How about gas? No matter how you cut it a flat tax on sales is skewed against the poorest who must spend the largest portion of their income on real world necessities. While the guy able to invest 95% of his income is able to generate even more wealth off of it and not have any tax liability.

Let me paint this scenario for you. I am able to make $10 million a year, but I keep a modest home here in SoCal. But, I spend most of my time at my beach villa in Mexico, which is also where I have all my toys. I earn my money in the US, but I spend it in Mexico. And guess what, I pay less tax than the guy down the street earning $40k.

That is why our currency should not be allowed to leave this country like so many other countries mandate.

There are ways to exchange currencies before you leave the US you know:D :D :D

Likewise when you come back, exchange it upon return and get taxed on what ever you exchange(bring back to this country).

Should help the local economies, because most folks will get more for their dollar vacationing in their own country:rock:

That should take care of the fat rats.:D :D :D
