I cut off the cats!

i had my cats cut off earley this morning and boy...does that makes a huge difference..and the sound is ..well...F ing LOUD!!!! i didnt use an o2 sim. i was expecting to just see the check engine light to come on...but it didnt..is that normal...just curious????

Some have said it normally comes on after 50 miles or so I believe.
 
should have used the spark plug non foulers while you were there and the check engine light would not come on

You can buy them at Autozone for about 5 bucks a set.

it may come on. I've done 3 05 srt-10 and 2 04 SRT-10's with cat-delete without the PCM. the 04's turned on the same day. all the 05's lasted 4 weeks with no check engine light. Thats when we installed the Mopar PCM without monitors. I'm curious about the 05 stock flash. Anbody else run into that yet?
 
you can turn off the 02's in the pcm tune right? i also heard u can plug them in and zip tie them? and the fronts will stay plugged where they are im assuming this is if you cut out your cats instead of doing a midpipe replacement

CEL came on...i will try the plug non-foulers...thanks for the tip...
 
you will have to drill one of them out ,,, I believe the lst numbers of the one you want are 009.
