and I love it! I think I am addicted!! All I do in class is day dream about going to the driving range or playing a round. Does anyone else have this "problem" as well? :D :D
 
thats a big fat NO,,,, I think golf sucks, worst game known to man. Start surfing or rock climbing and you will see how boring and stupid golf is. but glad you found a new hobby
 
I enjoy golf (I also surf, no rock climbing though :D ). Great game and good when it's flat or you're not out driving. Haven't been out for ages. On a par 72 my best to date is 89, was real happy about that lol. I like driving, best drive to date is 335 metres (365 yards) on a par 4, straight fairway, was 350 only 15 metres to go to the front of the green with a slight (15knots) wind behind me. Good at driving straight and far then the rest of my game FAIL LOL :laugh: My iron shots for some reason don't get off the ground 40% of the time, most of the time they stay 10ft above the grass hahaha. No pro but do enjoy a few rounds. When I get time I've been meaning to have a crack at long driving champs. Need to get a better driver and splash out on some pro balls. I'm using ones I find (while looking for mine) lol.

Love golf but that went away when I had my boy. Now he is 4 I am going to start getting him involved :D

I totally agree, I would rather go fishing and not catch a thing than waste my day chasing a stupid little ball around pretentious arrogant people.
Our bike club had a charity run that ended at a golf course once and they wouldn't let us play because most of us were in T-shirts. Last time I ever set foot on a course.

Pot kettle black? Pretty big generalisation don't you think? I do see what you mean though, lots of places don't allow shorts or sneakers and a collar is usually required. I can see why though, it's a gentleman's sport and tradition is more than likely the reason. You do get the odd plonker who's stuck up, for the best part (down here anyway) they're good.
 
I started playin golf when I was stationed at Fort Polk, LA. I had to quit playin due to having a couple of kids. Now I live right on a golf course here in Fort Worth, and I have yet to play one game. I have a couple thousand invested in clubs and accessories, but they just sit and gather dust. I did love to hate that game though. (Most realaxing and most aggravating!):D
 
loved playing, then you get to the point of your natural ability and have to practice and take alot of lessons to become that scratch golfer.

$1000 for golf stuff or $1000 towards viper mods...i think you get the point.
 
I love the game. I'm not very good. Usually shoot in the 90's but I have broken into the 80's. It's those one or two great shots every round that keep me coming back, I just choose to forget about the 95 shitty ones hehe.

It's the greatest and toughest game in the world.....

A player must resolve themselves to the fact of how difficult it is to play the game well.... It is humbling and confronts the player with his failures many times in the course of a round..... That's why so many players simply cheat.... Then they quit.

The game of golf is alot like the game of life...... You take what you get, accept what you have and move forward the best and most prudent way you know how....

Golf is awesome...... I wish I could play 5 days a week.....

That's for bringing this up.... It's the greatest and hardest game on earth.... not for pussies.

D
