I discovered Golf!

I love the game. I'm not very good. Usually shoot in the 90's but I have broken into the 80's. It's those one or two great shots every round that keep me coming back, I just choose to forget about the 95 shitty ones hehe.
I am supposed to go play tomorrow. If any of you live near the Temecula area let me know and I can add you to the tee time here in Hemet.

I am not very good but I still enjoy it. Actually the more a play the worse I have become, lol, Have to stop playing before the newbees start beating me, lol. :D

I agree with Tim. The toughest game in the world...it requires more of the player than any game should ever demand.

Played religiously for years...got to the point where four times a week was the norm...then I realized:

1. There are too many sand-baggers in the game.
2. A lot of people don't want to play the game..."Take two off the first tee?" "Roll them in the fairway?" "That's inside the leather, its good." What game are they playing?
3. And finally, no one can play golf, fish and be married at the same time.

Haven't played in about 10 years...but think about taking it up again a lot...

Sandbaggers...
Not me
My best was a 65. I have 3 aces and without a doubt when you play a great round and play by the rules it is the most satisfying sport one can play. The only thing that comes close is taking someone out playing football that didnt see you coming

I agree, watching a nice shot fly through the air and in those few seconds of looking at the ball and estimating it's landing area, when you know it's going to be close, it's a great feeling. That's about the time you 3 putt.

I have played a bit as well. Mosly for outings through work. Buch of hacks we all are though. Good times and lots of laughs. Lots of business too...

Only sport you can dress like a pimp and it be acceptable. ;)

Tomorrow as in Friday? Where you playing in Hemet?

Are you guys any good? I hate playing with a really good group and being the drag hehehe.

I'll PM ya.

Yes, Friday but my brother in law flaked out on me. If you want we can still go though. The place is called Seven Hills in Hemet. I will clear my PM box.

Could have sworn you were gonna say "Diamond Valley"....

D

Diamond Valley is a very nice coarse but I do not want to spend that much. A jump skip and a hop away is Red Hawk, Temeku, Temecula Creek, Bear Creek, The Colony, USGA...... My brother in law used to live off the 16th green at Bear Creek.

Golf is the most boring f'ing waste of time IMO. I tried to get into it but I just couldn't do it. If I'm going to spend hours doing something it sure as shit aint gonna be chasing a little white ball around and whackin it with a stick. I go to the MX track if I have time to play golf. Let's see you guys who think golf is so tough go out and jump a 100 foot table top on a motocross bike. Golf is the hardest sport in the world...pshhhhhhh. I bet you golfers would be so sore after riding hard on a MX track for 15 minutes (not that you even could) that you wouldn't be able to walk for three days.
