I fought the road and the road won

WOW man ya i so dont like driving my truck when the roads are wet here. glad to see your still with us.

atleast you remained calm, most people would have just freaked out from the start and wound up in the ditch. you kept your head, saved yourself and the srt.

I was wondering who parked their truck in the middle of the highway?:dontknow: :D :D :D :D
LMAO!

Yesterday we had 3" of snow on the ground, and about 2" of packed snow on the pavement.
I had to try it. I just *had* to!

Stock wheels. Stock tires.
It was....unpretty. Traction was....limited, to say the least. My driveway is flat, but I still had trouble crossing it. :) I moved the mirrors so I could see the rear wheels, and watched the tach as well. I rode the clutch like I was delivering mail in 1861. I would say it was touch and go for a while there, but there simply was no 'go'. :D
Finally, I had made it across my 30' flat driveway.

The Pirelli's are fine on dry, and have not given me any problems on the wet, but in snow...they are a joke. I knew that going into this, but I experimented nonetheless.

I'm glad to hear you're okay, despite the impromptu stunt driving showcase. :)

The SureTrax bed weight system looks to be pretty cool. I might invest in one to reassure my wet traction.

Scary shit dude. Glad you made it out unscathed!!! That was well written, you had me on edge!!! How long did it take you to grab that first beer from the fridge when you got home? LOL
