It's not too bad once you find a good importer to deal with it however 30% tax to pay when it lands.

So how do they know the actual purchase price you paid for the truck ? Especially from a private seller !
From a private seller over here we just put the purchase price of something like 100$ to save a lot of taxes on the purchase .. I never tried asking a dealership but I would bet they would also do it !
We use to be able to state $1.00 on the sale basically gift but the taxing jerks , the last I heard must be at least $100 but that was around 30 years ago when I took possession of a truck from the company that gave me one in my hiring deal compensation . it was a new 1997 Chevy 2500 thru the company that made the purchase and transferred it to me ,which saved big on taxes.

Correct especially when going through a broker to handle the shipping.

The only fall back is total loss claim if the ship sinks then you are out of pocket by an amount.

What are the requirements to make it legal in your country ?
Emissions , passenger side steering etc ? We know many countries require you to drive on the wrong side of the road hahahaha !


On a QC IMO a 2/4 drop is too much !
If you’re replacing the plug wires look into New Coils as you’ll be removing the intake manifold to replace the wires anyway ! Better yet see if you can do a clean looking set up to place the Coils in a more accessible location to eliminate the removal BS of the intake manifold !

On the suspension drop piece I'm really keen to hear alternatives as I'm starting from a somewhat clean slate of knowledge.
