I just got a 05 QC ram srt-10......I need lots of help with it....please help me.

I want to put an exhaust sytem on my truck but i don't know which system to go with. I don't know much of anything when it comes to mechanics so don't laugh at me. I've heard a lot about magnaflow, borla, and b&b exhausts. I'm not really looking for hp gain but it wouldn't hurt, I'm really just looking for sound. I want a really low and deep sound at idle but a kinda higher pitch sound at high rpm's. I would really appreciate any suggestions. And please when replying list all parts of the exhaust. I don't know anything about this stuff.

Maybe some members will post up some sound bytes for you to decide on what's a better sound for you.

Sound of our trucks is a very personal thing. The concept of providing sound clips is good. Longer term you will need to consider where you ultimately want to be with your truck. If you are just interested in a better sounding truck. If you want to modify your truck more then there are lots of other considerations.

If you plan to add headers, delete your cats and free up a little power that is another thing.

My recommendation if your cats are remaining: Magnaflow...

My real recommendation: Mopar long tube headers, total cat delete, Magnaflow with Magnaflow resonators.

It does but it is deep all the way. You don't want B&B if high pitch is what you are after.

alot of guys get cab resonance from the magnaflows & i think they sound alittle high pitched for me.......
if cost isn't an issue & you like a lower toned rumble -- B&B is the only way to go......:rock:
