Yep they work on all the forums I am a member of except this one? I've gone through the user cp and haven't found anything yet. I did change a few things but to no avail.

PM one of the Mods or Admins with this unique problem. Maybe they can figure out what's up.

One other thought. At the bottom of the screen when your making a post, make sure the "Disable Smilies " is unchecked.
