I need the power of the VTCOA!!

Sorry,I just viewed this,
I glad to hear everything is o.K.

Wow. Thanks to everyone for the prayers.

We went to see him a little bit ago and Corteney said he looks worlds better than he was earlier!!! I was so glad to see him all cheerful-like. You could still tell he was sick, but they said he is WAY better than he was this afternoon.

What a relief!!! Thanks again to everyone, for the thoughts and prayers. It really means alot. The people here never cease to amaze me. :)

A febrile (fever) seizure is not un-common on the children... and usually an isolated incident. Common within the first 24 hours of an illness and a sudden fever "spike". (he had the Chichen Pox yet?) ;) :dontknow:
Typically there are no long term affects of this type of seizure.
I am sure the hospital will give you/ family good discharge instructions.... Tylenol administration is imparrative on keeping the fever in check.... if he can't hold down fluids/Tylenol...going to have to go through the "Bum".
Loose the "bundling up because he's cold" train of thought. Will only precipitate the chance of another incident.
Great to hear he is making "pee pee"... indicates that he is getting hydrated, and assist's in keeping his electrolytes balanced.

Here is some good info related to Febrile Seizures:

Hope it helps.

Glad to see he is doing better... God's Speed to him, and I will keep y'all in thought's and prayer's.:D

Sorry, another one of the late arrivals.

Glad to hear Chance is doing better and is at home.

Thoughts and prayers are still with him and his family.

Kenny, thanks a million bud. That was some great info. I'll pass that link along to his parents! Looks like a great useful website as well!

Thank you for the thoughts and prayers too my friend. We're still praying for Dawn as well. :)

Yeah Kenny how about a Dawn update

Jimi, I know how you and Courtney feel about this little guy and he is pretty cool for a two year old. I'm just real glad everything looks good now, you know you have our prayers.

Hey I bet even Annu's and I think he is Buddist or something.

I got on this thread really late. I'll be thinking about your nephew for sure. He sounds like a tough kid.

You will be enjoying him soon and that is all that counts.

Thanks everyone, it means more than my simple words can express.

He has no conditions and isn't extremely curious (he's smart) - meaning he knows the difference between what's food and what isn't. I am extremely tore up, and I feel completely helpless.

Thanks again everyone, and his name is Chance.

God Bless You Chance. Roz...Keep your head up my brother. I know these are trying times, just keep your head up.:(
