Idle question?

Since I installed the K&N CAI everything has been fine, until today. It idles above 1,000 rpm now after driving it around a little bit. Anyone else have a similar issue?

Yep. I just noticed it today, and it's been a few days.

Mine does the same thing, once in a while it will idle above 1000rpm and even above that, up to 1500 rpm, it seems to happen when i'm cruising in 1st or
2nd for an extended time.
I found that turning the ignition off and then back on again with out touching the throttle will bring the idle back down to normal, this seemes to indicate a problem with the IAC motor.
I just live with it for now, I do have the extended warranty but I don't have the time to take it in right now.
I do also have a cai, mopar version
on a side note somtimes I find that after a while at the raised idle it will drop to normal on it's own...:nurse:

When my throttle position sensor got water in it, it idled up like you are talking about then dropped off again when it dried out.
No codes...

I bet it's the TPS. My truck use to do the exact same thing until I replaces it about a year ago. Now I don't have that problem. The dealer should have them in stock. I think they're about $25. And it takes about 5 minutes to swap it out.

I had the same problem with idle...after replacing everything mentioned above we found that some idiot (probably the muffler shop that installed my exhaust) had broke a wire on one of the O2 sensors and sodered it back...new sensors & problem resolved..
