OMG! You'll never get that black beast clean enough. Your going to lose your mind waxing and polishing that thing. Welcome back Ron. :congrats:I'm laughing at how that paint is gonna show finger prints and how your gonna turn inside out every time you see one.:D:D Looks like you've got a good start on mods too.

Thanks guys. I drove up to Raleigh today on business and ended up buying a truck. I had arranged a meeting with the sales manager to look at the truck this morning. I laughed at him over the phone when he told me "it's in excellent shape". Well, my view of excellent and his view are definitely different. The truck has no dents, but it looks like the bozo that had it previously washed it with one of those wash station brushes. So it has a lot of fine clear coat scratches that I plan on tackling Friday. What I can't remedy at home, I'll have my paint shop fix. I have actually been in the hotel parking lot tonight trying to Zaino out whatever I can. People probably think I'm nuts, polishing my truck in Dockers.

After I get the paint right, I will then get it lowered, and have the wheels sent off for the PermaStar coating (thanks Tony). So, here we go again.

One performance question: when I left the truck scene last year, if you wanted a performance tune, most went to DC Performance for a flash. Now I see threads about the SCT tuner. I need some direction here on what to do.
