One performance question: when I left the truck scene last year, if you wanted a performance tune, most went to DC Performance for a flash. Now I see threads about the SCT tuner. I need some direction here on what to do.

Marty at KC Performance. and i am sure there are some other tuners, but the SCT is the way to go.

I got my SCT from Dan they are the way to go! No hard wiring just flash and go! Oh yeah welcome back!

SCT allows you to have three programs or "flashes" in one unit.

DC Performance can sell you the SCT and tunes,but their stage 2 is the same whether it is uploaded to a ECM or an SCT.

BTW,if you buy one used,it can only be switched from truck to truck before it has to be returned to SCT to be unlocked ($150)
At least that is the info reported to me.
