.... i have had bigger claims that i didn't file for.... like when the truck hit me, i still had collision coverage, just chose to just replace the door. sure it was worth 3500, chose not to.... cost me $150 for the door.... not sure why they would investigate it.

and i kept forgetting to get the insurance. i have had the boat two years and take it off for winter, on in the spring.

update:

the person who is handling the case will speak with me tomorrow.
i believe this entire thing might be because i gave the wrong date by mistake. i may have initially said the 24th. but told them later it was indeed the 22nd. i even gave them phone records and showed them the 24th. so thats it. this whole thing will be over soon, and i have reopened the claim and will be paid on it after i go make a recorded statement to them.

talked to them today, except for them trying to bully me, such slogans as "man up" and "we'll go easy if you tell us the truth" were mentioned. i said show me the evidence and i will show you where your wrong..... they said they didn't have it with them.... these two people are unreal. i discussed this with a older friend, she says it seems like they are shooting in the dark.
i asked the two if they preferred i lie and tell them what they wanted to hear, they said no. if they said yes it opens a door they cant shut. well i am dismayed as how the insurance board hires two people that are so stupid. like the pressure thing is going to work. if they get in my face, bully me, and make witty statements that i will somehow crack and spill what ever beans i may have. one even left the room and the other one got even more rude, i half expected them to switch places and the other one give me a coke and say their partner can be a bit harsh. i saw this on the shield several times. i have setup an appointment on the 22nd with the insurance company to settle this claim, i dont think they will make a move till then. what a waste of my time this is.

they said my motive was i was short on money, to that i replied how then did i spend $600 on fuel to get down there.

thats one quarters profit. thats over 14 billion per year they make.
if they have 50,000,000 customers (and they dont) that would be $280 each person would pay in pure profit each year. i cant find anything saying how many they have now.
