Immigration Curiosity

The following was sent to me in an email. I am sure some will discredit it in some way. I say close the borders and ship the illegal aliens home, build the wall and get a system to allow them to become legal the old fashion way. Learn English first, get a Legal Social Security #, pay taxes to help fund the hospitals and social services they have over run. Some of you older guys might remember WWII. Did we let every Juan,Carlos and Akmed into our country during war time? Read these quotes below and think about it!!

"You old white people. It is your duty to die."

HISPANIC LEADERS SPEAK OUT!

"Go back to Boston ! Go back to Plymouth Rock, Pilgrims! Get out! We are the future. You are old and tired. Go on. We have beaten you. Leave like beaten rats. You old white people. It is your duty to die . . Through love of having children, we are going to take over. Augustin Cebada, Brown Berets:

"They're afraid we're going to take over the governmental institutions and other institutions. They're right. We will take them over . . We are here to stay." Richard Alatorre, Los Angeles City Council.

"The American Southwest seems to be slowly returning to the jurisdiction of Mexico without firing a single shot." Excelsior, the national newspaper of Mexico :

"We have an aging white America . They are not making babies. They are dying. The explosion is in our population . . I love it. They are shitting in their pants with fear. I love it." Professor Jose Angel Gutierrez, University of Texas

"Remember 187--proposition to deny taxpayer funds for services to non-citizens--was the last gasp of white America in California." Art Torres, Chairman of the California Democratic Party,

"We are politicizing every single one of these new citizens that are becoming citizens of this country . . . I gotta tell you that a lot of people are saying, "I'm going to go out there and vote because I want to pay them back." Gloria Molina, Los Angeles County Supervisor,

" California is going to be a Hispanic state. Anyone who doesn't like it should leave." Mario Obledo, California Coalition of Hispanic Organizations and California State Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare under Governor Jerry Brown, also awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Bill Clinton

"We are practicing 'La Reconquista' in California " Jose Pescador Osu na, Mexican Consul General ,

"We need to avoid a white backlash by using codes understood by Latinos . . . " Professor Fernando Guerra, Loyola Marymount University

Are these just the words of a few extremists? Consider that we could fill up many pages with such quotes. Also, consider that these are mainstream Mexican leaders.

THE U.S. VS MEXICO : On February 15, 1998, the U.S. and Mexican soccer teams met at the Los Angeles Coliseum. The crowd was overwhelmingly pro-Mexican even though most lived in this country. They booed during the National Anthem and U.S. flags were held upside down. As the match progressed, supporters of the U.S. team were insulted, pelted with projectiles, punched and spat upon. Beer and trash were thrown at the U.S. players before and after the match. The coach of the U.S. team, Steve Sampson said, "This was the most painful experience I have ever had in this profession."

Did you know that immigrants from Mexico and other non-European countries can come to this country and get preferences in jobs, education, and government contracts?

Corporate America has signed on to the idea that minorities and third world immigrants should get special, privileged status. Some examples are Exxon, Texaco, Merrill Lynch, Boeing, Paine Weber, Starbucks and many more.

DID YOU KNOW?: Did you know that Mexico regularly intercedes on the side of the defense in criminal cases involving Mexican nationals? Did you know that Mexico has NEVER extradited a Mexican national accused of murder in the U.S. in spite of agreements to do so? According to the L.A. Times, Orange County , California is home to 275 gangs with 17,000 members; 98% of which are Mexican and Asian. How's your county doing?

Is education important to you? Here are the words of a teacher who spent over 20 years in the Los Angeles School system. "Imagine teachers in classes containing 30-40 students of widely varying atten tion spans and motivation, many of whom aren't fluent in English. Educators seek learning materials likely to reach the majority of students and that means fewer words and math problems and more pictures and multicultural references."

WHEN I WAS YOUNG: When I was young, I remember hearing about the immigrants that came through Ellis Island . They wanted to learn English. They wanted to breath free. They wanted to become Americans. Now too many immigrants come here with demands. They demand to be taught in their own language. They demand special privi leges--affirmative action. They demand ethnic studies that glorify their culture.

I just wanted to get a post in before it does get locked. :D

This was very informative...

Roy Beck is a pretty controversial figure. Mostly because of who he is associated with.... Of course, the groups that are throwing stones at him are quite controversial as well. ;)

Mr. Beck did state some very compelling numbers. And nothing in this lecture was untrue, or biased (it is in-line with other studies I've read on this issue).

Good post, Jerry. :)

I believe every illegal immigrant that is caught should be put in a "Uniform" and sent to Iraq to support their new country for one year... When they return they should be given their citizenship...

here in Italy we have a similar issue: 99% of illegal immigrants are outlaws, pushers and so on. Our Jails are full of those people, we spend lot of money because of them. Not to mention criminality, violence, drunk drivers killing people and many other crimes are committed by illegals.

A drunk driver (illegal immigrant) killed 4 teenagers on their mopeds, his lawyer asked a reduction to 4 years of jail for him.

If I was a lawyer I would think about my country 1st then my salary.
If I was a politician.... oops, I can't say that :)

No way for illegals in every country. They must respect local laws.
Come in peace or stay at home!

having a bit of Native American in my ancestry,I would say "NAY" to ILLEGAL immigration. There is simply no way that we can deport ALL or even a significant majority of illegals. Can we strengthen our borders and slow down the number ? Certainly ! And we should. The LEGAL way is the right way.

I can't remember how exactly the joke goes about an old Indian being asked what he thought of the new American Government and he responds with "Before whites come ,women do all cooking and cleaning, men hunt and fish all day.We make love all night.Medicine man is free.Men make all the rules. And you thought you can improve system like that ?"

The American Indian had a poor immigration policy and look what it cost him !!!!!!!!! We have been "the land of the free and home of the brave " for so long that we conveniently forget we stole it from the Native Americans.I am red blooded American patriot, but facts are facts. The world is probably better off due to this nation and it is THE GREATEST Nation on Earth, however,we immigrated illegally into someone elses land, took it from them, killed them, ostracized them, and now ignore them. They are all but forgotten. Now we see that the face of European-founded America is changing and it is unsettling. It really scares white America to think that they will possibly be in the minority very soon.

We need a real-world immigration system that is fair, flexible and simple to understand. We need a secure border and we need ENFORCEMENT of our laws.

Great opinions on both sides of the fence.
I owe it to my brothers, my family and all
those who try to do the right thing by following
the laws of this country as they are currently
written by publicly voting .......
Ney.

If our country voted ( the ones that care to ) and
wanted change....then I'd follow those laws as well.

Well said... and with good reasons....

I think this is going well. I love the fact that EVERYONE that has debated, so far, has been under "full disclosure", meaning they let all parties know where they are coming from ..... That's GREAT, IMO. :)
