Bob,

The National Guard is different than Army Reserves. However, both fall under the United States Army.

The main difference (simplified) is that the Reserves generally fall under the direct command and control of mother army and the National Guard generally falls under the command and control of the State.

There are some exceptions though. Special Forces for example....all part time units are now National Guard (no more Army Reserve SF units). They fall under the state for administrative purposes but their missions and funding (in certain areas) are controlled by active duty Special Forces Command. I could explain further but I'd probably bore every one to death.

I think it spreaded to his mouth by chewing his toenails and from there entered his brain... hence the name "the sickness"

This has yet to be proven, but it a theory

That's just an Urban Legend....he was sick before that. However, he did get worse afterwards.

never got to attend the complete SF course because my commander wouldn't approve my application
