Installing Raptor Shift light

Hey guys I was looking into buying the Raptor shift light and I was wondering how hard is it to Install I know it has like 3 wires 1 for the ground another one for power source[where is the best place for that wire..does it need a fuse?] and the other wire has to do with the ignition or coil pack?

the instructions say single mode. Is there a dual mode where you set the RPMs? or is that done some other way? Just curious.
