I would in the interest of not giving them any ammo to use against you. Provided the dealership is fixing this make sure they account for all the broken parts. Pic below is of my missing valve keeper lodged in the block under where the crankshaft sits.

Dang that sucks! The funny thing is that when I bought my truck, I bought it used from a big ford dealership. And the sales manager told me that dodge doesn't offer a extended warranty, but ford did, so I bought the ford premium care extended warranty. Will dodge honor this warranty? Or will have to take it to a ford dealership?

CAI kit DOES NOT VOID your warranty. If they try that shite, go somewhere else. BUT....I do have what you need (almost positive will check after work) if no one else chimes in, just pay the shipping.. Let me know.

Thanks man! That's awesome! I might as well put the factory intake back on, just in case. I think I will take you up on your offer. My zip is 64843 for a shipping quote. And after its fixed, I'll ship it back to you! Thanks man I really appreciate it!

What does the fine print in your warranty say?

Warranty places suck. I had a car years ago. They got me with a warranty. All I had was a intake header and exhaust. The timing belt slipped and bent some valves. They blamed the aftermarket parts and didn't cover it under warranty.

It's at my home in mo. I'm still in Denver, but the project I'm in will be finished next week. That's when I'm planning to do the switch a ro! My wife brought it up here when she was visiting last week,It really didn't specify which dealership would perform the warranty work. All I got from the dealership was a peice of paper stating the price, mileage/date, " 60 months, or 90k miles, truck had 30k when i bpught it" and which package I purchased.

The government passed a law a couple of years ago that states that a warranty company can only deny coverage if they PROVE that the warrantied item failed as a RESULT of the aftermarket modification.

Leave the CAI. Your good.
