There has been some interest expressed in Aluminum jugs for the washer and coolant overflow.

From the DOTM suggestions thread:

Ok, the containers will be approx 4" around by 15" tall aluminum (3.25qt). The fill caps will be a billet screw on with knurled edges. The welds will be exposed, but will be nice clean welds.

The windshield washer container will fit very similar to where it is now and have two brackets to hold it, holes for the level sensor and pump, and a sight glass level. Price is $95 bare, $115/125 powdercoated (depending on color)

The coolant overflow will also be located similar to where it is now, but start under the upper radiator hose and have a fill spout. It will have two brackets to hold it, a nipple for the overflow line to hook up to, and a sight glass level. Price is $125 bare, $145/155 powdercoated (depending on color)

Add a port for the feed line for w/m injection on the washer fluid reservoir, and you have yourself a deal.;)

That would be no problem at all. I can make it without the hole for the washer pump too if your not using it anymore.

Ditto.

Justin, can't you build a replacement brake fluid reservoir or at least a cover to hide that ugly plastic one? Shoot me a PM with a time frame and pricing. Powder coated of course.

Its just not cost effective to make a replacement, there are baffles, sensor hole, barbed ports on the bottom, etc.; and its too funky shaped to make a cover. Maybe if a bunch of people want them and dont mind paying for my time to develop it, then I would do them. Im going to let this thread go a day or two and see the interest, if its good ill start making the jugs next week.

I dont think it would because of the intercooler. I can get just about any size water meth jug in plastic or make you something custom if you have dimensions.

alright, i'll have to get back to you on that:D

I may be interested in both. What kind of sight glass setup would be on them?

How about a replacement (braided maybe?) hose to go with the coolant overflow?

How would the brackets attach?

Great idea, thanks!!!

Sight glass like my catch cans have

I can make a hose setup or Tony can come up with something. Alot of guys run my radiator covers where you dont see the hose anyway.

The brackets would attach to the stock points except one added one on the coolant overflow (Ill try to make no drilling/modifying necessary to stock parts)

Thanks
Justin

I've got one of your rad covers, just wouldn't mind a little braided line on the part that does show. ;)

I'm in, but pending pics of the actual units. I like to see what I'm getting. I expect it will be great, just like the rest of your stuff!!! :) :burnout:

No place to put the coolant reservoir, you might recall.;) Already relocated with the ProCharger kit.

I'll take mine in the same color as the rest of my stuff (liquid smoke???).

Thank you!

Just a quick note here. My 04 hemi ram had an issue with a leaking washer fluid / overflow tank. It was replaced later with a new design. I'm not sure if it's the same as the 04 viper trucks though.

Made the prototype washer jug today, its been very busy here (a good problem to have), so I could not get both fabbed this week. Let me know what you think:

Im not a huge fan of the long sight glass, but others may be. It has a 3/8 npt bung at the bottom as well.

hit it with some color and it will be much better:D you always put out great products Justin, keep up the good work:rock:
