We had a rumbelbee gtg there, They were VERY nice people to deal with. A dyno day would be cool!!! They offer group rates also. There is a restaunt near there that's like hooters, exept they have good food and hot chicks!
...on the way home from that gtg is when my tranny in the yellow truck let loose for the 5th time. Then an hour and a half of diving @ 80 in second gear lead my to start looking for my current truck.

I would think that the restaurant was Bone Daddys on 183? I don’t know if it’s still there or not and hope if it is they have changed the staff. Sadly aforementioned friend dated a girl from there as well and that one didn’t end so well. The owner jokingly asked him to not "date" more than one girl at a time while they were employed there. They said it isn’t good when the girls find out that another hooked up with their co workers man. I was thinking to myself wow a beer food and a cat fight how could it get any better. My friend didn’t listen and ended up going home with another girl after an outing. They all then turned against him, damb evil empire it was. They also didn’t like the rest of the guys that normally came in with him. Im married so it was funny as hell to watch all this go down. Not that Im the only one with dates but I am moving into the new house on the weekend of Easter. This would be the only bad weekend for me unless you all want to come by and help. I have a 500 or so pound grill that needs to be moved. I would say sooner is better since its going to get hot before long. The weekend of the 17th is st patties day and the weekend after that is free?

Well it kinda of looks like the 31st would work for most . If not chime in .
Chris if you can call or run over to Maxwell and check to see if that date would work . Then we can get a count on how many and go from there .If you cant get around to checking on the dyno give me a call or PM me with the guys name we need to talk to and I will .

He should be calling tomorrow, I left a message late Friday. In the event that I dont hear from him by tomorrow afternoon Ill call back. I will also ask what qualifies for group rates and we can see how many are coming then. Not sure how long the Dyno will take, I guess we can call it on the fly or make some additional plans prior to the date. We could also roll out to one of the surrounding towns that has a good BBQ place. Taylor or Elgin come to mind, Im not big on waiting in line or driving for coopers. Georgetown has a BBQ place that is decent and it has a huge parking lot.

Chris sounds good let just play it by ear . It's not like vacation planers as I thought the big deall was to get together meet some bro's with like intrests . Austin tends not to be a big car town although there are plenty here . There was a car show and what ever someone sent me but turned out it's more of a ricer event so only thing that caught my eye was the drifting compitition but that would just be cold to bring in some real iron :D :D :D thats driftable .
So I guess go with that date and we can play it how it goes unless it storms ,kind a like now :confused:

I spoke with Randy at Maxwell today and this is the info I got. Group = 15 or more, in ground Dyno Jet 2 pulls with air fuel. He is going to check with his technician to make sure that the 31st is open and call me back this afternoon. Looks like about 9 have posted so far, we will see how it turns out.

Yea Bone Daddy's (I will be ther this weekend!!!) I am up for anything!!! 31st is good.

I will be in austin on saturday night till sunday at noon!!! The RED beast will be there to. Should be in the vacinity of 183 and captitol of texas hyw, or 6th street...

3/31 sounds like a winner. But darn it, Mr. Holden can't make that date. How are we going to have a decent GTG without THE Tx Yellow Fever present?:dontknow:

I absolutely understand that at some point you have to drive a stake in the ground or these things just don't happen, and when you pick a date, odds are someone has a conflict. I'll grace you with my presence next time ;) :D and yes, Mike one of these days I plan to come down and see your operation.

I hope you guys have a great time and wish I could be there!!!!
 
Nothing back from Randy. Someone else want to try and see if they can get the info needed, Randy in the service Dept at Maxwell Dodge on 620. I have been sick this week and trying to get over this bug so I havent had much time to do anything. BigRed460, I have the family in town this weekend so I dont think I will be able to get out much.
 
As long as it's sometime this year, guys... I want to see Mike's blue on black stripes in person so that I can drool.
