Is John doing the non louver style?
My understanding is John said his hoods will be louvered with a raised cowl.
Is anyone making a hood with the raised cowl and no louvers?? are we not getting a Row Original hood???
Why are we having 2 guys make the identical hood??
I think they should produced one of each..

I wasn't saying anything because I had to scramble to find someone to market the hoods.
My intention from the begining was to just spend a couple G's to get the hood into production as a gift to the members and Stinker who I liked very much because of the way he treated me on purchases I made from him.
Because of my health I was going to bow out after seeing the hood in production and was buying ser#1 for Roz as a surprize X-mas gift.
Because of lack of sleep, and my determination to allways accomplish what I promise, a misunderstanding (my fault)occured between Stinker and myself on 10-29-08 resulting in the production of two hoods.
I have now spent far more time and $ than I ever intended but the SuperSnake VTCOA Hood is supposed to be in production in about a week(if not already), pending details to be worked out on a vendor.
The only info I am going to release is that it looks killer, is vented, and the MFG stands 100% behind their work.
The hood on my truck will have cost me,$$$$.$$+, but they will retail for
much less.
Moral of this story: The road to Hell is paved with good intentions and no good deed goes unpunished. My loss, your gain!

mmmmm so we have 2 hoods being produced that are identical .. guess ill have to get out the bondo..

I agree with John....
There is no way the hoods will be identical. The one from Tony was designed by Roz and Roz is the quality control on the hood. I don't know a great deal about Johns, but I'm sure the quality of both based on what I've read will be top notch.
Besides, it's good to have choices

Thats what im looking for a choice, of a hood with out dammmm louvers in it.. that look way over the top and tring to hard to be the " viper " ,, I love the hood with the raised intake only. now thats just sexy... and classy.. the other i think is going a bit to far.. but ohhwell ive got a few gallons of bondo in the shop i can fill them in before we paint

The Vents were the main reason for doing the hood in the first place(lower underhood temp increases the life of rubber/plastic parts), and then asked Roz to make photo with the higher scoop to help accommodate a intercooler under aTMTS supercharger.
the hoods are fiberglass....I bet any good fiberglass body shop could fill in the vents and smooth over....:dontknow:
