As far as security....if this GTG is anything like the Nats....you won't need it...

that is to say:

1) as a group we attracted a visit from the cops every few hours anyway
2) there were people (our group) partying in the parking lot until 5:00am
3) if someone steals Whitesnake's wheels they will be doing him a favor

I have have been all over the country for GTGs and absolutly nothing out of the ordinary has happened.

If "SECURITY" is needed where you stay, then you need to stay somewhere else.

Phoenix has some innercity problems like anywhere but Surprise and SpeedWorld seem quite safe. We have left trucks and trailers containing cars, tools and parts at the track and no one messes with anything. Most racers respect and look out for one another.
