Joe Donovan has my truck.

The heads are back on today. :rock:

They were shaved down a little bit to produce a 10:1 compression ratio. They were (of course) ported and polished, new valves, springs, etc....

Gaskets are port matched.T&D rockers and intake go back on tomorrow. Hope to be running and tuning tomorrow night or Wednesday. :rock:

Since Joe has the mock up of your truck, what if i were to send him my intake, throttle body, and heads. I would do the re-installation and the cam myself. Does he do anything like that? If so, how long would it take for me to get them back?

All good questions...but questions for Joe. :D I am just a customer of his and can't speak for him. Give him a call. Leave a msg if he doesn't answer (he's under the hood of my truck, lol). :p

Personally I think your idea would work. However, the most beneficial part of dealing with Joe is that he is a tuning genious. You would miss out on that part of the deal. He can do some tuning with the VEC programs thru email and get you real close but personally I'd rather have the truck on his dyno.
 
Good to hear!! I need to talk to Joe and update him on my 1/4 mile times at Bandimere yesterday.

I'm thinking (trying hard to be realistic) around 550.:)
