The man who enlisted the services of Colonel George Washington to lead the war....Brilliant political tactician and the first politician to try to emancipate the salves. John Adams was a great man and often over shadowed because of the bookend Presidents before and after he served. If not for Benjamin Franklin insisting that Slavery not be part of the DOI. I never knew that he defended the British soldiers, until last night. So far the show has been excellent, and they made note of all the things you brought up.
