jts throttlebody installation

While installing my new t/b I seemed to have broken one of the throttle cable hooks "the plastic piece that hooks to the throttle body" I actually dont know if this is the throttle cable or not. Do i need a new cable or will autozone have something that will replace just the plastic piece?

think it should be, throttle cable next to intake, cruise on the outside & kick down cable down low & to the inside

I think its the cruise control cable then, its the cable on the top, drivers side of the throttle body. Is this cable a pain to install?

just follow the cables housins.

one will go to the firewall & one will go to the cruise servo.

if it is cruise, is the cable part of the servo assy?

I have no clue man!! What does the kick down cable do? does it lower or level out the rpm's at idle?

if so, i would go ahead & finish the swap, wait till the snow is gone & test drive:rock::burnout:

might want to get a holt of one of our Mopar vendors & see if cable can be had by itself

yeah, im pretty sure it, "from the cable break down you gave me" seems to be the cruise control cable. Im honestly not to worried about not having cruise control, im more worried about it running and driving, being my daily driver. the cable closest to the t/b is the throttle cable, right beside throttle cable is the cruise cable, and under neath those two cables is the kick down cable right?

Thats it! but 73bucks! I wish they made something that wraps around the cable and hooks to the throttle body! I guess they know how to make that money!

It's used on a lot of different vehicles so I would check with a junk/salvage yard before buying a whole new cable.

looking at the cable diagram, I noticed a plastic housing at the tip of the cable, the broken cable dont have that long plastic piece on it. so im thinking it might the the kickback cable. anyone else see what im talking about?

Yea I can't find it for an 06..Figured it was the same as the 05. Good luck.
