JTSVP PS Lines Leaking?

Haters = those who have had a bad experience with either Tony or said company

Now that I think about it. Every single vendor that has been on this site has people in the above said group.

My favorite part about a lot of the site vendors is the asinine shipping charges... "Discount" on the front end, make it up on the back...

try autozone then, you can just go pick it up

UPS & FED EX They are the real criminals
Places like Amazon don't help either. People special order parts from our brick & mortar store then expect to have them shipped directly to there house for free.

Not looking for free, looking for fair. 20+ to ship a small box that cost $12 or less falls squarely on the shipper.

that's the great part about being in business. You can charge what you want for product and S&H. As a consumer........ it then become a choice that needs to be made independent of the needs of the supplier.... you going to pay or say fuck that, I'll get that specialty part from...... shit.....no one else has it.... fuck!

Most people seem to think that the actual shipping cost is the only thing that matters. Things like the box itself, the tape, the packing material, time to box it up and take it to the shipper don't seem to matter. Whether you run a business or not, time is money.

Well there you go... From "helping a brotha out" to "I'm the only asshat who has one, bend over... but its OK because I advertise here"

You complain about paying tax too I suppose.
Business are in it to make money, how they do it is up to them. Without making money there would be no point of doing it. They have bills to pay too.
Would your rather see it itemized on your bill. HVAC fee, lighting fee, building fee, employees paychecks fee..... you get my point.

Can't give everyone handouts. Seen that before. Everyone was the owners friend. The doors closed.

misterak:

Yes, I had some new hoses built at a local hose shop (using the o.e.m. ends) as it was a nightmare trying to stop the leaks from the "Lifetime"power steering hoses. Not to mention the incredible stink and mess it caused underneath the truck. And, oh yeah, NO STEERING assist at one point.

It is NOT reasonable to expect a flat washer with a rubber insert to hold back 1500+ p.s.i. between the line fitting and the flat surface of the fan motor. The o.e.m. fitting in that connection point is properly designed and doesn't leak.

And before those that haven't had issues with theirs leaking chime in, that's my experience with the braided lifetime power steering lines.

It would have been great had they been installed and just worked with no leaks.

good thing that everything manufactured ALWAYS works properly and nothing mechanical ever fails. if Tony advertised them as "Lifetime" then that means you send them back to him and he'll replace them (just like AutoZone does, its Just that TOny doesn't have a store in every city"

its amazing that it went from being "something happened" to "crap vendors" without ever sending the item back to the manufacturer for replacement.

I think you missed the part where there is no warranty on the PS lines..... well the last time I asked there wasn't

Nuke, this goes back several years......best to leave sleeping dogs lie. ;)

Ronnie had hoses made that have not leaked for years, he is happy. Tony has sold an improved version of the hoses, he is happy. Nuff said.

We get that a lot, we get asked to make something yesterday and we come up with the best we can ,and usually after we do , someone tells us how to do it better, then we try to improve on everything every single day, such as the oil lines, the shifter, throttle bodies, whatever is asked
we do it because we love the trucks, I have a serious passion for them, not just a dollar in the pocket, but we are small little country shop that has small ambitions just to be happy and make hp, in fact we have a company trying to make us the new fitting for the fans, as no one makes the correct fitting as Im sure most know, so yessir we are constantly trying to upgrade, and yes I get it a lot, you will sell 10000 units of something, 9990 will be happy and never hear from those, but the other 10 will post every social media they can, no matter how we try to help out.
the ps lines now have a 6 month warranty , but as long as its valid I try to do what I can to correct issues,
I lately just take my grandmothers advice and just let it go;)

I just hope the dash plaques don't leak. At least mine.

No warranty, in fact I would suggest you never get one. It's the only guarantee you will get to prevent disappointment

Tony, thanks for the warranty update on the PS lines. Does this also include Viper PS lines?

I'll have to disagree. The lines I bought came in a USPS flat rate box. The box is Provided by the Post Office and Picked up on the cuff. It even sticks itself together. Just add the label and set it out for the mail carrier. I understand all about time and money. I am not asking for anything for free. However I did think the shipping I paid was high.

My opinion. Not bashing anybody. It is what it is.

I am trying to take care of a lot of the shipping costs, yes it does cost more than just a free box, as an owner you do have to take a lot of items into consideration, such as fuel, the time to deliver, packing, insurance so forth
but I had someone else taking care of the site for a bit , so I am trying to go back and adjust a few items, if no one brings it to my attention then it cannot be handled, I rarely connect here , most of my calls are on the phone, about all the time I have lately. so if Im not made aware of a situation, then I can do nothing,
but as one of my customers preston was telling me the other day , he ordered two bolts from a company he needed, $15 shipping the bolts were $1 each, and if you look at other items on our site, such as oil filters, shipping is only a couple dollars, matter of fact a ton of the items are low, so thank you , I am making adjustments as quick as I can

Just roll the price of shipping into the price of the item and offer "free shipping". ;)

I still like my JTS PS lines, Oil cooler lines, shifter (both of them), plug wires, etc. and the customer service was always first rate.

Limited production vehicle supported by small independent shops. I am grateful that a few vendors take the time and make the investment so that we can have some aftermarket support.

I don't care who you are, someone will always find a reason to bitch. If you went out of business trying to cater to them, they'd bitch about that too.
